Update on A Curious Feeling

As previously reported, Tony Banks’ 1979 debut album, A Curious Feeling, which is getting the remix treatment by Nick Davis is nearing completion.

On the official Genesis forum a few days back, Nick mentions that he is down to the last 2 tracks. In July, Geoff Callingham digitally transferred the original 24 track tapes, so that Nick could work on new stereo and 5.1 remixes.

Still no news on potential release dates.

1979 solo album to get remix treatment

A Curious Feeling Nick Davis, who seems to have had nothing to do it seems after finishing off the 5.1 remasters for the 1970-1975 box set (due out in November), is to start work at the end of the month on Tony Banks’ solo album, “A Curious Feeling.”

Regarded by many fans as Banks’ finest solo effort, it is unknown whether it will be remixed in 5.1 or just a remaster, and if it will contain any extra tracks. Obviously no release date is yet known and which record label will release it.
